What is Finding Forms Pro

If your browser started acting weird by changing the homepage and search engine, then your PC is possibly infected with Finding Forms Pro browser hijacker. Browser hijackers are categorized as a potentially unwanted program (PUA) which are ostensibly meant to enhance browsing by adding new features and generating “smarter” results. Unfortunately, none of these is true. Finding Forms Pro changes the original search engine to hp.hformshere.com or search.hfindingformspro.com and adds a couple of widgets like weather, news, e-mail, etc. Hence, users are forced to encounter the page each time they boot a browser. Moreover, search.hformshere.com does not generate unique results, instead, it replicates them from legitimate Yahoo.com. It is also worth mentioning that browser hijackers are capable of gathering browsing-related data (passwords, IP-addresses, geolocations, etc.) which is therefore sold to cybercriminals. Thus, Finding Forms Pro is a dangerous application that leads to privacy issues and has to be removed from your device.

How Finding Forms Pro infected your computer

Likewise Tinychill.com, Searchactiv.com or Search.chunckapp.com, Finding Forms Pro infiltrates systems via untrustworthy downloads. Such method is known as bundling – deceptive technique of promoting repacks with unwanted programs. Developers pay website holders for injecting their software alongside freeware. During the set-up, most users misuse skipping additional options by rushing until the end of the installation. This often results in unintentional infiltrations since people fail to check “Advanced” or “Custom” sections that contain adware or browser hijackers. Thereafter, users struggle to reset browser settings and get rid of unwanted programs that stealthily collect personal data. Do not worry, we are here to help you restore the balance and safety on your computer in the guide below.
