What is S3arch.page

S3arch.page is an example of fake search engines promoted by a browser hijacker called Suls APP that is downloaded accidentally by reckless users. Apps of this type modify browser settings and impose their own view of how convenient browsers should look like. In fact, the promised value of smart algorithms supposedly meant to improve browsing is worthless. S3arch.page uses popular search systems like Google and replicates results from it (results are signed like “Enhanced by Google”). In addition, browser hijackers are categorized as potentially unwanted applications because they can track your data and collect it to pitch on the darknet and earn money eventually. If you are getting pissed off by S3arch.page, we will help you get rid of it in this tutorial.

How S3arch.page infected your computer

As we pointed out above, S3arch.page comes alongside Suls APP which is a browser hijacker. Its developers make everything possible to bundle their software wherever they can – in repacks, fake software updaters like Flash Player, malicious redirects, and other shady prospects. We insist on keeping your hands away from clicking on suspicious content that claims your computer settings to be outdated or infected. Remember that none of these services have real information about your PC unless they hacked your server and control it remotely. Most of the times, it is just a casual trick to make gullible people believe in this tail.
