How Storm Alert infected your PC

Storm Alert, has its own website (www.trackstormalert.com/) however this is not how it is distributed. Storm Alert mostly spread through small programs called “downloaders” on download sites such as soft32.com, download.com, softonic.com, and others. “Downloaders” are used by these websites as way to monetize their traffic. And although they say these downloads are “100% virus free” adware like Storm Alert can be offered in users agreement or as an installation option. There are lots of adware programs out there, so be careful and attentive when installing or downloading something from the web or use protection programs like SpyHunter 5, AdGuard, Malwarebytes AntiMalware.
