What is System Defender

System Defender (a.k.a System Defender Security Center, Windows System Defender) is a money extortioner program disguised as robust security software. It pretends itself to be a real virus-detecting piece, however, instead of searching for genuine threats it intentionally fabricates scanning results to obscure the vision of inexperienced users and impose, that their computers need urgent recovery because of fake malware. Thus, it is attributed to potentially unwanted applications (PUA) and rogue scanners. In fact, the so-called infection might not have any traces on your computer at all. It is just a regular trick to compel users into purchasing a full version that will vigorously delete all of the threats. Externally, it is a regular malware detecting tool, that has no outstanding traits. Of course, it has a user-friendly and minimalistic interface to distract your attention and start displaying its stark performance as soon as possible. The main purpose is not to keep your PC safe but to tantalize you into switching to the paid version that will just clear a randomly generated list of malware. In addition, it can also pressure the computer’s RAM and CPU. And you never know whether it can gather personal data and hand it over to third parties which can be disastrous for your identity. If you find yourself using this malicious program, we strongly recommend you to uninstall it by reading the attached guide in the article below.

How System Defender infected your computer

The number one and most notorious way that virus developers tend to abuse is the bogus e-mail newsletter categorized as spam. Malefactors promote malicious content via attached files and other potentially dangerous links alongside e-mails. The range of file types may vary from executable files to PDFs and other text documents that may hide imperative threats like Trojans, Viruses, Ransomware, Spyware, Adware and somesuch. Scammers pretend themselves as some legitimate company services attempting to notify you about fake updates and other sorts of tools. The fact that they do not know about your preferences and activity has to draw you back. Although, some users adore tempting their fate and fall into this trap because of curiosity and unawareness. Spam diffusion has been the easiest and still best way to beguile raw users like elders who trust everything they see across the web. Besides that, Frauds infiltrate computers by paying other developers to mask their applications under “Advanced” and “Custom” sections in repacks. It then leads to a stealthy installation without the user’s consent. Cybercriminals invent brand new ways to catch their victims each day. This is why it is so vital to be cautious on the internet to not coincidentally enrich somebody’s pockets. Here is a set of robust actions you can do to entirely uninstall System Defender from your computer.
